Massachusetts-Israel Innovation Partnership Program – 1st Call for Health IT Track
The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (“MassTech”), together with the Israeli Industry Center for R&D (“MATIMOP”), on behalf of the Office of the Chief Scientist (“OCS”) in the Ministry of Economy, is offering grants to eligible applicants (“Applicants”) to fund research and development (“R&D”) collaborations between companies in Massachusetts and Israel.
The framework of the Massachusetts-Israel Innovation Partnership (“MIIP”) program has evolved from the Memorandum of Understanding which was signed in 2012 between the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Israel, aimed to promote greater R&D collaborations among companies in the two jurisdictions. Joint R&D projects proposed in response to this Solicitation will be considered for grant funding from MassTech and OCS.
The main objective of this Solicitation is to stimulate generation and development of new or significantly improved products or processes for commercialization in global markets in the fields of Health IT. MassTech and MATIMOP have a particular interest in projects in the areas of mobile health, telemedicine and big data analytics. This Solicitation offers a parallel funding collaboration track. Companies from Israel and Massachusetts will be funded for their activities in the joint R&D project byOCS and MassTech respectively
