DSB Special Session US-Tuna

The DSB convened a special session on Wednesday to adopt the latest AB report in the US – Tuna dispute. In the meeting, Mexico urged the US to comply with the recommendations contained in the reports. The US, on its part, stated that the dispute should have been resolved under NAFTA, instead of the WTO.

The meeting also served to formally welcome Prof. Seung Wha Chang from Korea as the new AB Member and to say goodbye to Mr. Shotaro Oshima from Japan, as he concluded his term as AB Member.
