Mobileye is a Jerusalem based company that is working make driving safer. The company develops technologies for image-processing, used in cars to help with vehicle safety. The technology essentially acts to assist a driver, by alerting and helping to avoid dangerous driving situations.
The company was founded in 1998, and while it is still seeking its first profits it has raised over $150 million, and is backed by companies like Goldman Sachs and Motorola. GM, BMW, and Volvo are partnering with the technology, using it in their cars, and other major automakers are currently signing new contracts.
