Showcase of Innovative Israeli Start Ups Attract Interest from Prominent Investors in Houston

We are honored to report that the Houston event as part of the 2^nd Annual Trendlines U.S. Road Show was successful in giving early-stage Israeli companies the opportunity to actualize their ideas and raise the necessary capital to grow and establish themselves.  The Trendlines Group, based out of Israel, has the mission to create and develop businesses to improve the human condition.  The Trendlines Group brings a hands-on approach to greatly increase the chances of the portfolio companies to succeed.

Seed-stage investments are principally made though the Israeli Government licensed incubators: Misgave Venture Accelerator and Mofet Venture Accelerator. 

Misgav aims to improve healthcare outcomes while lowering costs. The investments in the Life Sciences focus most intently on medical devices, but also include biotech and pharma opportunities.  The work at Mofet is dedicated to the alleviation of the global food and water crises with a focus on agritech innovation.

The recent event in Houston, Texas was hosted sponsored and supported by Winstead PC, the Government of Israel Economic Office to the US Southern Region, Consulate General of Israel to the Southwest and the Texas Israel Chamber of Commerce.  Todd Dollinger and Steve Rhodes of the Trendlines Group led the delegation of 13 companies on the  U.S. Roadshow which started in Chicago and continued through Houston, Atlanta, Baltimore and New York City.  

“There are no better ambassadors for the value and innovative culture that characterize Israel’s economy that her early stage companies” says Nili Shalev, Israel’s Economic Minister to North America.  Many productive meeting have taken place during the roadshow and there is a great chance that successful companies with world changing technologies may be a result.
