BioMed 2012 in Tel Aviv and the U.S. Executive Delegation

We are currently recruiting for our Executive Delegation to the Biomed expo in Tel Aviv, which is only open to senior executives and investors in the life sciences.

Biomed will take place this year on May 21-23 in Tel Aviv, and is a leading international conference covering the fast-growing innovation in the biomedical, health care and life science fields.  Last year’s event drew 6,000 industry executives, investors, engineers and scientists from 42 countries.  Keynote speakers during the conference will include (partial list):

  • Dr. Joanne Waldstreicher, Chief Medical Officer for the J&J Pharmaceuticals Group
  • Dr. Jeremy Levin, CEO, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries
  • Ken Hitchner, Global Head of Healthcare Group, Goldman Sachs

Joining our Executive Delegation will provide an invaluable opportunity to develop business connections and opportunities in the global biotech market, and particularly in Israel.  Delegation members will enjoy an exclusive and complementary invitation to the following events, which will take place throughout the week of Biomed:

·         A panel discussion on “Funding and Partnership Opportunities Available for Foreign Companies,” with the participation of representatives from the Israeli Chief Scientist Office, a global pharmaceutical company, Tech Transfer Offices of the leading universities in Israel, and the U.S.-Israel Bi-national Industrial R&D Foundation (BIRD).

  •  A by-invitation only reception sponsored by OrbiMed Advisors. This high-level evening will be attended by senior international executives and investors that are visiting BioMed.
  •  A breakfast hosted by the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, followed by an opening bell ceremony, with the participation of senior industry executives and investors.
  • Visit to bio-tech companies in the North of Israel, followed by a visit to Ramat David air force base and briefings by F-16 pilots.  This will take place on the Thursday immediately following the conference, May 24.
  • Personal one-on-one meetings with industry executives, Israeli companies and investors.
