It is with much excitement and vigor that we invite you to participate in a new non-traditional format of our annual IATI BIOMED to be held June 10-12, 2013 in Tel Aviv.
The Israeli Life Sciences industry operates within an environment which has been coined as “Start-up Nations”. We have decided to bring the trend of innovation to our conference as we believe it better represents the evolution of democratization and social media.
Participants from Israel and abroad will be involved in the conference’s agenda and influence its content. It will allow for a great variety of subjects to be presented and discussed. Proposals will come from companies, entrepreneurs and scientists. It is YOU, Israelis and international participants, who will determine what will be highlighted and featured in this conference.
Soon, we will approach participants to submit suggestions for presentations you would like to deliver. The list of proposed subjects will be published and a time frame will be given for your selection via a voting process. The top 250 subjects will form the essence of the 2013 IATI BIOMED conference. The Chance-to-Speak platform will allow for a broader range of interests to be covered and explored in the conference.
We will continue our tradition of keynote speeches and plenary sessions given by industry leaders worldwide.
We believe the new and exciting format will enhance the chances you will have for interaction with old and new friends. Networking is the name of the game. IATI BIOMED 2013 follows the success of previous annual conferences where the Israeli Life Sciences industry hosted 6,000 industry players, engineers and scientists with approximately 1,000 participants from over 40 countries and in excess of 3,500 one-on-one meetings.

Israel Medical Device Company Roadshow
In January, 2013, the Government of Israel Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor, together with the Office of the Chief Scientist, welcome a group of Israeli medical device companies to the United States. The group will be traveling to 5 locations: New York, Boston, Chicago, Silicon Valley and San Diego. In mid-December, 48 senior executives in the water industry are going to Israel, representing the private sector, government and academia. This will be the largest business delegation ever from Massachusetts. Within the group are senior partners in venture capital funds that manage billions of dollars, representatives of corporations, the Deputy Minister of Energy, officials from MIT, and more.
