EU bans more hazardous chemicals in cosmetics products

In October 2021, the European Commission adopted Commission Regulation 2021/1902 amending Annexes II, III, and V of Regulation 1223/2009 (Cosmetics Regulation) to ban the use of 23 Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, or Toxic for reproduction (CMR) chemicals in cosmetic products.
