Invitation to a Québec Trade Mission in Israel – Medical Equipment, Life Sciences, ICT, from May 18 to 24

Version Française

Export Quebec would like to invite you to participate in an exciting trade mission to Israel, from May 18 to 24 2014. This mission will take place during the Israel Innovation Conference, http://mixiii.com/ , which combines for the first time Biomed, a renowned trade show/conference in medical equipment and life sciences; and HiTech, which covers new technologies in the information and communication technology sector.

Would you know why Israel is called the “start-up nation”? Here’s why:

Israel has the greatest number of start-ups per capita and the largest number of patents per capita in the world. These patents are 50% in the life sciences. Several multinationals have set their R and D centers in Israel or have developed industrial partnerships with universities.

Before 1996, 186 Israeli enterprises were specialised in life sciences compared to more than 1000 today, 41% of which were created over the past 10 years.

Thanks to a dynamic venture capital industry, roughly 75 enterprises are created each year.

As part of this trade mission, you will benefit from the following services :

  •  A space inside the Quebec booth;
  • A Personal program designed along your profile and objectives for the whole five days of the mission;
  • A site visit program to key players in the aforementioned sectors (outside the conference venue, in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and elsewhere (tbc);
  • Logistical support throughout the mission;
  • Local transportation for site visits;
  • Multiple networking opportunities (cocktails, reception, etc.).

The cost for this whole package is $800. This does not include air transportation and hotels.

Places are limited, we want to keep our support personalised.

Deadline for registration is : April 1rst 2014.  Come and join us !
