Generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology is all the rage now. In particular, AI chatbots like ChatGPT have been a hot topic for many. So we decided to ask the AI chatbot to describe Israel’s economy, but with a sense of humor.

ChatGPT rose to the challenge, hilariously describing the economy “like a smorgasbord of different flavors”. ChatGPT went on about describing the “thriving tech sector” that creates products and services that are life-changing and the agricultural sector that produces “everything from citrus fruits to olives to wine” in abundance.

And it gets better. “no discussion of Israel’s economy would be complete without mentioning its legendary chutzpah,” wrote the chatbot, referring to the characteristics of “audacity, for good or for bad” (definition from Wikipedia).

Overall, ChatGPT says, Israel’s economy “like a big, delicious, and slightly unpredictable mezze platter. You never quite know what you’re going to get, but you can be sure it’s going to be interestin, exciting, and full of surprises.”

Here are some of the Israeli generative AI technologies:

  1. D-ID’s generative AI technology elevates learning and development, sales, and marketing video content. Its platform enables creators to generate photorealistic digital presenters from text, dramatically reducing the cost and hassle of video production at scale. D-IDs live-streaming face animation API offers enterprises and developers the opportunity to embrace the generative AI trend by easily integrating D-ID’s proprietary technology in a simple, scalable, and elastic package. Companies can incorporate presenters, talking and moving faces, to offer consumers real-time digital assistants or companions.

  2. AI21 Labsis an artificial intelligence (AI) research and development company that focuses on creating AI technologies to solve complex problems across various industries. The company is dedicated to advancing the field of AI through research, development, and application of AI-based solutions. AI21 Labs’ technology stack includes a range of advanced natural language processing tools and models, deep learning frameworks, and computer vision algorithms. These tools and models are used to develop AI-based applications for a wide range of industries, including healthcare, finance, and retail. One of the company’s most notable products is the AI21 Studio, an AI-powered writing assistant that uses natural language processing to help writers improve their writing skills. This tool uses advanced algorithms to suggest better word choices, grammar corrections, and other improvements to make writing more engaging and effective.

  3. Copyleaksis an online plagiarism checker that uses cloud-computing algorithms to find copies of users’ content across the internet in an effort to fight against copyright infringement. The company’s technology supports files in any language and many formats, including doc, PDF, HTML, and txt. Plagiarism detection searches can be filtered according to users’ needs and specifications, and the results are summarized in an easily accessible report. Copyleaks uses an encrypted connection (SSL) to ensure that users’ content is secured, and its API allows easy integration with the Copyleaks plagiarism detection service.
