Strong Opening for Israeli’s Film Festival in Berlin Yesterday

SERET Berlin 2018 has opened yesterday, and the founders of the Israeli Film & TV Festival, Odelia Haroush, Anat Koren and Patty Hochmann, are bringing a more extensive Festival than ever before.

In front of a full house, the premiere yesterday of the movie “The Testament” was very successful and the movie was breathtaking.

This year’s programme is stimulating and entertaining, with a line up of films and documentaries that echo many relatable themes. For the first time, SERET will be showing episodes from a new internet TV series, and the focus of the industry event this year will be on TV productions.

From the identity and secrets of the Israeli nation and its diverse individuals, to love and loss in their many forms, this Festival looks beyond the conflict which so often forms perception of the country.
