The 1st Israel-Ghana Business Forum was held at the esteemed Kempinski Hotel in Accra. This forum served as a catalyst for collaboration, innovation, and meaningful connections between Israeli and Ghanaian businesses, propelling both nations towards a brighter economic future.
The presence of the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eli Cohen, and the Ghanaian Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, along with the Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Sholmit Sufa, the Head of Agro-Tech Sector at Israel Export Institute מכון היצוא, Federico Atlasovich and the Head of Israel Trade and Economic Mission to Ghana, Yaniv Tessel, underscored the significance of this occasion. It demonstrated the unwavering commitment of both nations to strengthen trade relations and explore new avenues of cooperation.
The Business Forum had the active participation of 8 Israeli tech companies, Netafim, #MigdalSeeds, Data Harbor, Negev Industrial Minerals, #Lexico, LR GROUP, #ADCon, #DekelOil representing diverse sectors, who showcased their cutting-edge solutions and expertise. Their presence in Accra exemplified the immense potential for collaboration and the mutual benefits that await both Israeli and Ghanaian businesses.
Around 160 attendees graced the event, comprising representatives from various industries, entrepreneurs and stakeholders from the Ghanaian Business eco-system. The dynamic atmosphere was further enhanced by the series of impactful B2B meetings between the Israeli companies and their Ghanaian counterparts, which laid the foundation for future partnerships.
