The trade department at a large international organization is currently seeking a Trade Officer.

A trade officer’s role is to promote trade and Investment with various organizations, by finding relevant business opportunities for companies in the international markets.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Responding to and following up on customer enquiries
  • Coordinating meetings between foreign and local companies
  • Locating and recognizing business opportunities
  • Advertising departmental activities via social networking websites, blogs, and professional message boards
  • Initiating meetings and events
  • Conducting market

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably in economics/ /business/law/international
  • full control of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in the use of CRM systems and email marketing platforms
  • At least 3 years of work experience e in the areas of trade, investment, and business
  • Previous experience in marketing – an
  • International background- an
  • Team player, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • pro-active, ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
  • Previous experience in administration or event planning – an advantage
