SPECIAL JOB OPPORTUNITY
The trade department at a large international organization is currently seeking a Trade Officer.
A trade officer’s role is to promote trade and Investment with various organizations, by finding relevant business opportunities for companies in the international markets.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Responding to and following up on customer enquiries
- Coordinating meetings between foreign and local companies
- Locating and recognizing business opportunities
- Advertising departmental activities via social networking websites, blogs, and professional message boards
- Initiating meetings and events
- Conducting market
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree – preferably in economics/ /business/law/international
- full control of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proficient in the use of CRM systems and email marketing platforms
- At least 3 years of work experience e in the areas of trade, investment, and business
- Previous experience in marketing – an
- International background- an
- Team player, good communication and interpersonal skills
- pro-active, ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
- Previous experience in administration or event planning – an advantage
