Futuristic transport pods to cover the city making traffic a problem of the past.
The future is almost here.
We’ve seen transport pods and futuristic methods of travel before, mind you, usually in sci-fi movies and TV shows. But now, thanks to a dedicated group of engineers and researchers, we may be seeing it in real life in the city of Tel Aviv.
In doing so, they’d make the cultural capital of Israel the first city to host a massive system of ‘magnetically levitating pods, according to Times of Israel.
The system of pods was developed by SkyTran, a privately run company that looks to create personal rapid transit systems, or as like they to put it, ‘the physical internet.’
