The Economic & Trade Mission, Consulate General of Israel in Hong Kong officially launched the first ever Israeli Design Pop-Up Shop in Hong Kong at S504, PMQ, Central on 22nd October (Thursday).

Prior to the opening, the media including Ming Pao Weekly and the Hong Kong Economic Journal first arrived to take photographs and interview our Consul Mr. Elad Goz on this unique project.  Along with Mr. Goz, the manager of DIY, Home & Family products from the Israel Export and International Trade Institute (IEICI), Mr. Eyal Levy, has also visited Hong Kong during the opening week, to represent the exhibiting designers to meet with local distributors and buyers for collaborations.

The Consul General Mr. Sagi Karni started the event with an opening remark to our guest, followed by a ceremonial gesture of revealing the Pop-Up Shop sign, the Israeli Design Pop-Up Shop is officially opened. The evening finished with greetings and discussions between the guests, as well as some picture snap shots of the exhibiting designer works.

The Israeli Design Pop-Up Shop is now opened!

The Israeli Design Pop-Up Shop showcases the hottest and most unique Israeli design at S504, PMQ, Central from October 23 to November 19, 2015. 25 established designers and promising new talents of their own design fields will give their perspectives of Israeli design through high-end products in fashion and accessories, jewelries, furniture, home decor, lifestyle and etc. It’s a glimpse of the Israeli lifestyle – colour, fun, surprising, Middle Eastern, sophisticated, modern and artistic. This pop-up shop aims to provide a platform for the Israeli designers to connect with the local brands and retail industry of Hong Kong.
