Three Israeli Apps qualified as finalists at the HK Asia Smartphone App Contest 2016

Following the success last year, Israel is once again leading the finalists table in the Asia Smartphone App Contest organized by Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA) this year.

Out of 9 finalists – among the contestants from Hong Kong,  Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Mainland China, Malaysia and Singapore- three are Israeli mobile apps  including – BAZZ, SURE and Bookclip.

The finalists are invited by WTIA to come to HK for the final judging panel for the final awards in three categories of the contest – Advertising & Marketing, Creative Lifestyle and Games & Entertainment. The Summit and Award Presentation Ceremony of the 2016 Asia Smartphone App Contest is expected to be held on 16th June (Thursday) at Cyberport.

Moreover, Ms. Nicky Blackburn, Editor and Director of ISRAEL21c will also be participating as a part of the judging panel along with other judges from other different regions. Originally founded by Israel-American technology executives, ISRAEL21c is an nonprofit organization and the publisher of an English-language online news magazine recognized as the single most diverse and reliable source of news and information about 21st century Israel.
