We are thrilled to report that an Israeli Innovative Medical Technologies Delegation visited Hong Kong last week (Jan. 24th – 25th 2018), comprise of  8 Israeli companies focused on Chronic Diseases – The Next Pandemic Prevention, Management and Care.

The participating companies: Biometrix; EasyLine; EcoFusion; EnzySurge; GlucoMe; InnoSphere; OrthoKinematica; Vitalerter

At the first day, Jan. 24th 2018, the delegation met the HKSAR government officials from Food and Health Bureau – Ms. Ida Lee, Deputy Secretary | Head of the Electronic Health Record Department; the representatives from Hospital Authority and Department of Health. Furthermore, a visit of Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital hosted by Dr. Raymond Yung, Deputy Medical Superintendent, as well as had an impressive tour of the hospital.

On the second day, 25 January 2018, a Professional Business and Investment seminar was held at JW Marriott Hotel organized by Israel Economic & Trade Mission to Hong Kong and supported by HKMHDIA.  At the event, we were honored to have Israeli Consul General Mrs. Ahuva Spieler, who delivered the opening remarks, as well as Ir Prof Andros Chan, Chairman of Hong Kong Medical & Healthcare Devices Industries Association (HKMHDIA) who gave a presentation about the Overview of the Healthcare Eco-system in Hong Kong; and Mrs. Ester Perets Burke, Consul, Head of Economic & Trade Mission, who talked about the Israeli HealthTech Landscape.

The Israeli companies presented their innovative medical devices and healthcare IT technologies in front of 70 guests from Hong Kong including Hospital Authority, distributors, entrepreneurs and investors.

Over 50 1-on-1 meetings were arranged, some of them – on the spot.
