The Embassy of Israel in association with CII organized a delegation to Israel during the event MED in ISRAEL during March 21-27, 2015, in the Port of Tel Aviv, Israel.

It was a unique opportunity to meet the broadest representation of Israel’s medical devices industry. The Indian delegates had a chance to meet mature, as well as start-up companies, and were able to examine new state-of-the-art products and exciting emerging technologies. Join top-notch industry executives, Israel’s most innovative medical device entrepreneurs, major pharmaceutical companies, life science research leaders, policy makers and internationally prominent industry investors attended the Conferences held during the event.
Lt Gen P P Varma, Dy. Chief Integrated Defense Staff (Medical), Ministry of Defense, India was one of the speakers in the conference. He spoke about the emergency preparedness of Indian forces in case of natural calamity and explained the role of Indian forces during floods which devastated J&K last year.
An exclusive Seminar was scheduled for Indian companies on 23rd March in which they met several Israeli companies. The Deputy Chief of Indian mission in Israel also attended the seminar along with Trade officers.
Apart from Apollo and Max Healthcare Groups, many other Indian Companies like Poly Medicure, Adroa healthcare, Kirloskar medical Technologies, Think Future Technologies, Xerox Research Institute, Rane Holdings and Nidek Medical India explored various opportunities for JVs, Technological tie ups, R&D with Israeli companies.
The companies also met Indian Ambassador to Israel Mr. Jaideep Sarkar on 25th March and discussed the ways to work with Israeli companies. (http://www.indembassy.co.il)

We, in the commercial dept. at the Israeli Embassy, were able to arrange a tailor-made schedule in Israel, including scouting and matching the needs of Indian companies with what the industry has to offer. Our goal was to achieve in bringing as many qualified leads & connections which can bring business to Israeli and Indian companies, expose Israeli MD and HIT Innovative Technologies and Strengthen International Cooperation.
