The Embassy of Israel in India and The Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute organized a Delegation of Fortis Healthcare Group on Exploratory Mission to Israel during 7 to 9 September 2015. The delegates visited Rambam Trauma Center welcomed by Dr. Mekel, Dir. of the Endocrine Surgery Service and Ms. Gila Hyams, Director, The Teaching Center for Trauma. They had a tour of Trauma Unit of the Underground Hospital.
They also met many Israeli companies namely MedaSense, Realview imaging, OHK Medical Devices, MedicVision Imaging Solutions, Escape Rescue systems, Medigus, ITIGI Medical, HipHope Technologies, Meditrac, OrthoFlex etc. The delegates visited the facilities of SHL, iMD-Soft, Leuko dx , Spectral Imaging and Magen David Adom (Israeli EMS) in Jerusalem.
On special request a Lecture on Patient Safety and Quality Assurance and Anti-microbial Resistance Program was arranged in Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center. The delegates were welcomed by Dr. Asher Salmon, Deputy Director, Hadassah and Prof. Allon Moses, Director, Dept. of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. The guest had the tour of the Trauma Unit and the underground ORS.
