Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with senior Indian business people at a power breakfast. He called on them to invest in Israel in a variety of fields and invited them to join the long list of major international companies that have already invested in Israel and opened research and development centers there. The Prime Minister said that he was certain that in Israel they could find advanced technological solutions in a variety of fields.
Prime Minister Netanyahu then participated in a forum with the Israeli business delegation and Indian business people. The Israeli business delegation is the largest delegation that has ever accompanied a prime minister on an official visit. It was a pleasure to be a part of this major event happened for the first time in Mumbai, given that Mumbai is the seat of many of India’s most successful major companies, the goal of the Israeli business delegation is to deepen economic ties and create joint business opportunities between Israeli and Indian business people.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Gangadharro Fadnavis also attended the event.
Israel is an innovation nation, India is an innovation nation, these two innovation nations must come together to define the future. These initiatives create business opportunities for Indian and Israeli Companies alike. Israeli companies excel in providing cutting edge technologies and enhance R&D services. Indian companies, collaborating with Israeli companies may benefit from technological advantage.
Benjamin Netanyahu was accompanied by a 130-member business delegation representing 102 companies, with a focus on agriculture, defence and cyber security sectors. etc., the visit as seen agreements and statements on innovation, strengthening the start-up innovation system, information technology, defence, electric vehicles and agriculture sectors. Startups like: Equatel, Xpandtion, Herodium Investments, Chakratec, HackerU, Team8, Even Danan & Equatel participated.
Relevant Indian companies, that are interested to learn more on potential collaboration with Israeli companies, are invited to contact the Economic and Trade Department at the Israeli Consulate General in Bengaluru Israel Trade & Economic Office.
