What do you think Beyoncé, Rihanna, Gigi Hadid and Meghan Markle have in common? They are all fans of Israeli fashion designers.

As can be observed, off late, Israeli designers have been making a foray into the international fashion scenes with celebrities flaunting their creations. With a rise in social media such as Instagram and fashion bloggers/ influencers, people are now more aware of the current trends and open to supporting young designers in Israel.

Israel is no more merely perceived as a Start-Up Nation but in fact, a nation with a pool of varied talents.  Local Israeli fashion designers are more than making a mark on the international fashion scene. The results are for all to see – Indian actor Priyanka Chopra being spotted wearing designer Maya Reik’s eco-fur coat, tennis ace Venus Williams making heads turn with her customized bridesmaids dress by Galia Lahav at sister and Tennis superstar Serena William’s wedding and Meghan Markle sure making a fashion statement by wearing a silk Boss bodysuit by Israeli designer Tuxe!

While Tel Aviv, the fashion capital of Israel, is still a newbie in the fashion arena as compared to London, Paris and Milan, with a mix of its cultures, it is known for making unique creations than the rest. This year, Tel Aviv entered its 6th annual Fashion Week with a host of innovative and creative designs.  It had a host of young designers displaying their cutting-edge styles.

As is perceived, when it is Israel, innovation and technology cannot be left far behind even on the fashion scenario. The amalgamation of creativity, fashion and technology is now taking over the Israeli fashion arena. The latest innovations being 3D printing and digital work, artificial intelligence, amplified online shopping experience, etc. are making rave reviews.

So the next time you are in Israel, do not miss looking at some of the distinctive and diverse collections of young and reputed designers in the varied Tel Aviv boutiques.
