Colorectal cancer starts growing slowly and can be cured if detected early, yet it is one of the main causes of death in the world. This is because the early signs of the cancer have no particular symptoms that can be detected by screening.
The OutSense IoT sensor brings with it a new hope to detect these cancers early. It clips onto the toilet and operates automatically. It is non-invasive, discrete and requires no user intervention.
It operates using multispectral sensors, an illumination module and an autonomous controller with a Wi-Fi receiver and scans solid waste for even the minute traces of blood. This can be paired with your smartphone, so the device knows who is on the toilet.
Realtime analysis is carried out using OutSense’s algorithms and AI. If anything seems abnormal, a notification is sent immediately to the smartphone.
This technology can also detect dehydration, UTI (Urinary Tract Infection), constipation and diarrhoea.
