Industry 4.0, in India conceptualizes rapid change to technology, industries, and societal patterns and cesses in the 21st century due to increasing interconnectivity and smart automation. The changes seen are more than just improvements to efficiency, but express a significant shift in industrial capitalism.  This phase of industrial change is joining of technologies like artificial intelligence, gene editing, to advanced robotics that blur the lines between the physical, digital, and biological worlds.

Throughout this, fundamental shifts are taking place in how the global production and supply network operates through ongoing automation of traditional manufacturing and industrial practices, using modern smart technology, large-scale machine-to-machine communication (M2M), and the internet of things (IoT). This integration results in increasing automation, improving communication and self-monitoring, and the use of smart machines that can analyze and diagnose issues without the need for human intervention. The Economic shift to Digital Transformation Course focus on the critical aspects of building a digital-ready business.

Trade and Economic Missions in India of the Ministry of Economy & Industry of Israel and Israel Export Institute (IEI). The Israel Export Institute, established by the government and the public sector is the premier gateway for doing business with Israeli companies, in collaboration with the Israeli trade offices around the world initiated a Virtual event on Industry 4.0. to bring business opportunities to Israeli ecosystem in international markets, project/technology scouting and strategic alliances.  An effort to help Factories and manufacturing organizations to reduce on high production costs, prevent malfunctions, analyse data and enable the continuous activity of their operations.

The purpose of this event is to learn about the potential of Advanced Manufacturing in India- the challenges, the regulations and the opportunities for technologies ‘implementation. Representatives of cutting-edge Israeli companies will be attending and pitching, covering the various sub-sectors: Maintenance, IIoT, Operations Optimization, 3DPrinting etc.,
