Based in Lille, France since 2018, Series Mania is one of the biggest events solely dedicated to the television fraternity in Europe. The festival showcases exclusive premiers of some of the finest television series from all around the globe. With over 70,000 viewers that attend this event, it surely is one of the most important occasion in the world television fraternity.

At this year’s Series Mania 2022, three Israeli television shows earned big wins gaining international success and appreciation. Out of the three shows, two shows were from Yes Studios, the makers of the internationally acclaimed show- Fauda. Bloody Murray won the award for Best Series and Fire Dance bagged the award for Best Actor bestowed to Yehuda Levi at the television competition. While Bloody Murray is a comedy series that revolves around the love lives of two Israeli women in their mid-30s and Fire Dance showcases the story of a troubled young woman who falls in love with a married man set in an Ultra-orthodox Jewish community.

The third show to win at the competition was Paradys by Keshet International in collaboration with one of the production houses from South Africa. Paradys is a crime-based drama and won the Series Mania Forum Best Project Award.

As we see this, Israeli television series continues to create waves in the international markets.
