Israel is a major exporter of fresh produce and a world leader in agricultural technologies despite the fact that the geography of Israel is not naturally conducive to agriculture. Israel is home to two unique types of agricultural communities, the Kibbutz and Mashav. Israel is a world leader in agricultural research and development, which has led to dramatic increases in the quantity and quality of the country’s crops.
The Agritech Exhibition, usually held once every three years, could not be held after 2018 due to the pandemic but this year it is scheduled from October 17-19, 2023 in Tel Aviv, with the first two days targeting a global summit and International Innovation Exhibition and the third day for Excursions. It is one of the leading international events showcasing Israeli Agriculture technologies, and this year, on Food and Water technologies, too.
It traditionally attracts decision-makers, experts, practitioners, and trainers in various fields and thousands of visitors from all over the world. It provides an opportunity to see at one site the latest developments in agricultural, food, and water sectors and advanced agro-technologies, especially in irrigation, water management, arid zone agriculture, intensive greenhouse cultivation, development of new seed varieties, and organic and ecologically-oriented agriculture.
The main focus of the Agritech Exhibition ‘23 would be on Food and Water Security in the Disrupted Era of new challenges and require extensive and profound approaches and durable solutions.
Around 150 leading global companies and Agritech, Aquatech, and Foodtech startups would be participating in this Mega Event.
The Government of Israel is a full partner in the planned events with the active support and participation of the Ministries of Agriculture, Economy and Industry, Foreign Affairs, and the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute.
Looking forward to seeing you in Agritech Israel 2023!
