When the Pandemic hit India in the early months of this year, little did we know that India, which was not manufacturing even a single personal protection equipment (PPE), has now achieved an almost unrealistic goal of producing 2.06 lakh PPE kits daily within two months after the lockdown. Looking at the potential of the Indian manufacturing sector, PM Modi has given a vision for the “Atmanirbhar Bharat”. This is a great initiative to make India self-reliant and we believe India is very well placed to be the epicenter of global economic activity going forward. We foresee that this can be achieved by adapting to global cutting edge technologies. To facilitate this process FICCI and other Industry bodies are reaching out the countries who could assist Indian manufacturers with the technologies of future, for scaling up production in India.
The first in the series of this initiative is being planned with Israel. The country is globally renowned in Start-up, Med tech, Food tech, Water tech & Agri tech. Considering India’s focus on the whole Medical & Healthcare sector manufacturing, we were keen to connect Indian healthcare and devices companies, with Israeli technologies, for making Indian medical industry scale up, while remaining cost efficient.
Towards this, The Israeli Economic Mission, New Delhi and FICCI are pleased to invite you to a virtual Business to Business meeting platform, on 28th October, 2020, 11:45 am onwards (Indian time). These will be pre-fixed B2B meetings with 10+ Israeli companies. These Israeli companies will display technologies in the healthcare sector ranging from AI powered vital sign monitoring; tele medicine platforms; technologies for remote patient monitoring; Tele Audiology; technologies for COVID patients etc. The program will start with a Knowledge session for about 30-45 minutes followed by B2B meeting schedule. It will provide an opportunity to interact with the Senior company representatives who will explain the details of these technologies.
