AGRF SUMMIT 2020 | Government of Israel
Insights from Israeli innovators in Africa
In just over 70 years, Israel developed a sustainable, innovative agricultural ecosystem with a unique problem-solving mindset that enabled both food & nutrition security for the citizens and thriving export markets.
In this session we presented a short overview of the Israeli agricultural eco-system and highlighted both complexity and the importance of introducing a new approach and new solutions to traditional challenges.
This event was hosted by Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) and Tony Blair Institute for Global Change in collaboration with Israel’s Foreign Trade Administration – Ministry of Economy and Industry.
It included a panel of Israeli agricultural experts and innovators who presented selected projects in African countries, discuss the growing opportunities and analyzing their experience of introducing Israeli agro-innovation to African markets.
