The process for foreign business people can now make it to Israel for work visits of up to 7 days!
The outline for the process is now available for full operation.
An Israeli company wishing to host a foreign businessman from a ‘green’ country (according to the list here) for a short visit for business purposes, can submit an application for allowing this visit. i.e. investment promotion, export promotion, etc., which can not be conducted by alternative means.
How will it work?
The visiting foreign businessman will fill out the online form here to apply for entry into Israel. After filling out the form – it will be sent to the e-mail address of the contact person in the Israeli company, as marked in the form.
Then – the CEO, VP or authorized signatory on behalf of the Israeli host company will fill in (in typing and not in handwriting) this application form and send it to the e-mail address Tofes.Zarim.firstname.lastname@example.org along with the form filled out by the foreign businessman.
What happens next?
The application is examined and if recommended, then forwarded for the issuance of a boarding pass for the foreign guest.
An update will be sent to the Israeli companies that submitted the application, and they will be in charge of the contact with the foreign visitor.
The foreign passenger will be able to apply in the country of origin for a visa to Israel prior to the visit to Israel, in cases a visa is required.
It’s important to remember the following
- The Israeli company will have to fill out and submit an application individually for each foreign businessman interested in arriving in Israel.
- The application must be submitted at least 15 working days (in Israel – Sun to Thu) before the planned departure date of the passenger to Israel.
- The approval does not replace the need for a visa to Israel in countries where it is required, but is mandatory in order to obtain one.
