Innoteque- How innovation can become an engine for sustained economic growth in Romania

The first edition of Innoteque, an international conference about creating, nurturing and maximizing an innovation ecosystem in Romania.

The conference will be held in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca, between October 5 and 7.

Powered by the Embassy of Israel in Romania, the U.S. Embassy in Romania, the Romanian-American Foundation and supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Romania and Aspen Institute Romania, this event is comprised of several panels, bringing together over 200 experts, decision makers and key stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem from the United States, Israel and Romania

Among the key speakers of the event are Mr. Shuki Gleitmann, former Chief Scientist of the State of Israel and Dr. Winslow Sargeant, former Chief Counsel for Advocacy in the US Small Business Administration, Her Excellency, Tamar Samash, Ambassador of Israel in Romania, The Honorable Hans Klemm, the U.S Ambassador to Romania, Her Excellency, Stella Ronner-Grubačić, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands  to Romania, Adrian Curaj, High Representative of the Prime Minister for ecosystem development based on science, innovation and entrepreneurship associated to ELI-NP pan-European infrastructure, Tal Catran, Accelerators Guru & Seasoned Start-ups Builder and Jaap Broersen, Program Leader International Innovation Cooperation at Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs.

The participants will be exposed to the fundamentals of diverse innovation ecosystems, sharing the specific approaches and strategies employed in each country to foster innovation and maximize the results, from investing in R&D to becoming the engine that drives the economy and value creation.
