Israel will host the first ever Cyber Solutions Conference today, bringing together dozens of cyber and cyber security experts from around the world.

Some of the world’s biggest cyber products’ companies have also sent their top executives to participate in the conference.

The conference, sponsored by the Israel National Cyber Bureau, and outlined in collaboration with its chief Dr. Eviatar Matanya, was initiated by IsraelDefense magazine.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be the event’s keynote speaker, with other speakers being some of the most prominent figures in the field, including Check Point CEO Gil Shwed, IBM Vice President Steven A. Mills, Kaspersky Lab CEO Eugene Kaspersky, RSA Vice President Art Conviello, Cisco Systems Vice President Bryan Palma, and Symantec’s Information Security Vice President Samir Kapuria.

The conference will discuss a variety of cyber solutions to some of the issues and problems faced by the public, private and business sectors, such as products meant to protect critical infrastructure, defense technology applications, and cyber solutions for the financial sector.

“The accelerating cyber revolution of recent years has altered the world we live in, with ever-changing threats and opportunities flowing between the physical domain we were born in and the virtual realm we created,” the conference’s prospectus said.

“All of that has inevitably inspired the introduction of innovative concepts, products and services in a variety of technological fields. Successful adaptation to these rapid dynamics makes it essential to be vigilant in the face of constantly evolving challenges.”
