Public, private security sectors to team up at Interpol event in S’pore


A new, international event aimed at identifying innovative solutions to global security challenges will be launched in Singapore next year.

Interpol World will connect the public and private security sectors to develop and drive initiatives for current and future problems.

The inaugural edition of the event in April next year will focus on four key issues — cyber security, safe cities, border management and supply chain security.

It is also timed to coincide with the opening of the Interpol Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI), which focuses on digital security, training of officers and investigative support for crime threats.
