S’pore surveillance company eyes Middle East market

VENTURING overseas to grow its business is one of the goals that engineering firm, TeleRadio, has.

The company, which manufactures vehicular screening devices such as X-ray scanners and under vehicle surveillance systems, sees the majority of its revenue coming from overseas markets, especially the Middle East.

Said Robyn Tay, TeleRadio’s director: “In three to five years, we hope to double or triple our strength, and I think more importantly, have some operations expand into the Middle East, maybe a sales office over there.”

At present, the company designs and manufactures all its products in Singapore – with a team of 25 in Jurong East. They produce the components for TeleRadio’s two main lines of products, the VX-Ray, and the Under Vehicle Surveillance System (UVSS).
