Israeli gaming company Plarium sold to Aristocrat for $500M


Australian gaming giant has acquired Israeli gaming company Plarium for a whopping $500M, and is one of the largest exits by an Israeli company in recent months.

Plarium has 9 key titles and is played by millions of mobile phone users world wide. Plarium’s most popular game “Vikings : War of Clans” is commonly in the top 10 grossing strategy games since its launch two years ago.

In 2012, Plarium released “Stormfall: Age of War,” which is one of the fastest-growing social games on Facebook.

In 2013, Facebook recognized “Soldiers, Inc.” as one of the top social games of the year.
