The Economic and Trade Department of the Embassy of Israel in Singapore serves as a focal point of contact for Israeli companies, businesses and industries seeking trade and investment opportunities in Singapore and the immediate region.
This Department provides business development services, as well as marketing and strategy consulting to Israeli companies interested in successfully penetrating and operating in Southeast Asian markets.
It also extends its services to Singaporean companies interested in finding market opportunities through joint ventures or other partnerships in Israel.
About the Commercial Attaché
Yoav Saidel is the Commercial Attaché in the Israeli Embassy in Singapore.
Between 2011-2013 Yoav worked as an Economist in the Wages and Labor Agreements Division in the Israeli Ministry of Finance. On 2014 Yoav did a 4 months course for Israeli Commercial Attachés, after which he started working as a Cadet in the Asia Pacific Department of the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry. Between 2015-2017 Yoav worked as the Personal Assistant of the Director of the Trade Promotion Division in the Ministry and managed the Ministry’s office in Argentina.
Yoav holds a B.A. in Philosophy, Economics and Political Science (with honors) from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an M.A. In Economics and Public Policy from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Yoav is 33 Years old, married and has 2 sons.
