Chinese Taipei files dispute against Canada over anti-dumping measures on steel

The Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (Chinese Taipei) notified today the WTO Secretariat of a request for consultations with Canada over provisional and definitive anti-dumping measures imposed by Canada on imports of carbon steel welded pipe (CSWP) originating in, among others, Chinese Taipeiphoto.

According to Chinese Taipei, these measures appear to be inconsistent with the obligations of Canada under several provisions of the GATT 1994 and the Anti-Dumping Agreement.
