Today, Ukraine notified the WTO’s Committee on Safeguards that it initiated on 28 May 2020 a safeguard investigation on fresh cut roses.

Deadlines and procedures for importers, exporters and other interested parties to present evidence
Notice of the Decision of the Interdepartmental Commission for International Trade of 22 May 2020 No. SP – 449/2020/4411-03 is published in the official newspaper “Uryadovuy Courier” of 28 May 2020, No. 100 (https://cutt.ly/Py2kb4P). Within 30 days from the notice publication the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine carries out registration of interested parties and considers the requirements for conducting of hearings. In investigation initiation enquiry it is necessary to indicate: name, juridical address, fax and telephone number, e-mail and name of contact person, type of activity (producer, importer, exporter etc.). The recommended form for a request for registration as an interested party of an investigation is provided in the annex to the notice of the Decision.”
