Thailand Entrepreneurs Startup Competition

The Embassy of Israel initiates the Entrepreneurs Startup Competition in Thailand under the theme “Start Jerusalem 2017”. The winner will travel to Israel to participate in a unique, prestigious accelerator program for new technology companies.

The Idea

To celebrate Jerusalem’s jubilee, the Government of Israel is introducing an initiative that will emphasize Jerusalem’s position as the most rapidly developing technological city of the Startup Nation and one of the fastest growing tech hubs in the world. This International Startup Competition to be organized by the Israeli Embassies and local partners in 30 countries!

The winner from each country will travel to Israel to participate in an accelerator program for new technology companies, which will expose the participants to the innovative, vibrant hi-tech environment in Israel.

Additional prizes for the winner and the runners-up will be offered by the local partners.

Application Criteria

We are looking for technology-oriented start-ups which are:

Software based (Mobile, Web, IoT, Platforms, )
Seed Stage
Working Product / Service with Traction
Social Impact, Urban Innovation – advantage

Competition Timeline

After an initial screening of the applications, the most promising founders will be invited to a pitching event and the winner will be selected to join the Start JLM program in Jerusalem (only founders or C-level can attend).
