Israel’s Cosmetics Innovation Shines at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2018

Israels growing reputation for excellence in the cosmetics industry was bolstered recently by the 20 Israeli companies which showcased their products at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, the premier international event for innovations in cosmetics, beauty, and wellness.

Held from March 1519, the expo provided hundreds of global companies an opportunity to display their products, accessories, and equipment. Heres a glance at a few of the Israeli companies which highlighted their products at the event:

·         Leorex Cosmetics harnesses nanotechnology to develop a range of dermocosmetic products with antiaging and aesthetic applications. Microscopic silica particles are used to flatten and pull wrinkles up, repairing skin tissue.

·         With certified organic and natural products, the Organic Hemp Line provides unique skin care and cosmetic solutions based on hemp seed oil.

·         Dr. Sea, developed by D.S.P. Doctor Sea Cosmetics Ltd., offers a line of products based on rich Dead Sea minerals, salts, dirt, and organic extracts, produced using cuttingedge biotechnology to optimize benefits for skin and hair.

Drawing on its abundance of natural resources and culture of innovation, Israel is continuing to distinguish itself in the cosmetics and toiletries sector with a range of remarkable offerings. Many utilize one of the countrys most prized natural resources The Dead Sea. The Dead Sea, the lowest spot on Earth, contains a whole host of unique salts and other rich minerals utilized for a wide variety of beauty and wellness products. One renowned product is Dead Sea mud, which is known for its distinctive medicinal and cosmetic applications. Other outstanding Dead Sea products are being utilized for rejuvenating face, hair, and body treatments; hygienic products; and beauty accessories. With upwards of 50 companies, Israels growing cosmetics sector already valued at close to $9 Billion has attained considerable traction in the European, North American, and Asian markets.
