Anglian Water in Israel

Looking at the recent extended dry spell in the UK this summer. It seems even more importance for the UK to preserve its water resources, otherwise we could find the country in trouble in the longterm.

This was the reason for Anglian Water’s visit to Israel in June. Desalination is not a common practice in the UK, but the country should be open to other processes such as this one if they want to protect this source.

In the next 5 year plan, which will be implemented in 2020, Anglian Water is planning to build 2 desalination plants. In the UK there is currently one desalination plant owned by Thames Water, which has a lot of malfunctions.

Desalination will be a revolution in the UK, a practice that will certainly be common in the near future.
