Israeli cybersecurity technology and services provider Sygnia recently announced its acquisition by Singapore-based investment firm Temasek.

An undisclosed source revealed Reuters about an investment of $250 million made by the investment group whose portfolio is valued $235 billion.

The Israeli start-up was launched in 2015 by Israel’s Team 8, renowned cybersecurity think-tank and company creation platform.

Sygnia, which has offices in Tel Aviv and New York, will maintain its operational independence while pursuing collaborations with Temasek and its portfolio companies.
