On the 17th of October, the Financial Times hosted a Water Summit at the Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square, London.

The event targeted CEOs and CFOs of leading companies in the food and beverage industry as well as their supply chain, banks, investors and other financial institutions.

Among the guests we could find Nestle Waters, Mars and Heineken sitting alongside FT’s event partners Diageo, ABInBev, ING and WWF.

The event was aiming at discussing the raising water risks and the role of such corporates within the water framework.

The issue of water stress can be solved by turning this risk into an opportunity through investing in sustainable water projects and improving the collaboration between corporates.
