Israeli Start-up invention treats burns without the need of touching the patient

Nanomedic Technologies, based in Israel, developed a new innovative portable medical device named SpinCare. The instrument which resembles the shape of a gun, is able to treat major burn injuries without the need of touching the patient.

The wounds caused by burns as well as burn treatments, are usually very painful for the patient. SpinCare however, not only creates a nano-fibrous layer that helps the tissue repair, but also reduces the pain of the victim, while working at a 20 cm distance from the patient.

The device can treat very severe burn injuries and once used, the layer created stays on the patient during the healing process to help the new skin build.

The company, who already granted its CE mark, is now applying for the FDA approval as well.
