In recent news, the Israeli start-up, BionicHIVE are one of 4 of four companies to have been chosen by Wincanton’s W2 Labs programme as part of their ‘Dark Store’ category. W2 Labs helps to provide innovation across Wincanton’s supply-chain and identifies new technologies that can help to make the supply chain more efficient.
BionicHIVE, who will now take part in a 10-week process to adapt their product to Wincanton’s business model, have developed an automated warehouse solution based on a fleet of synchronized autonomous robots that can be retrofitted onto existing warehouse infrastructure through their SquID technology.
Their fleet of machinery operates in any warehouse and is able to handle any item, and is the only robotic fleet which can operate on existing warehouse infrastructure.
With help from L Marks, BionicHIVE were able to be present their pitch and we look forward to seeing how they progress in the programme.
