The American Israel Chamber of Commerce held their annual Eagle Star Gala last week, where community leaders are honored with accnowledgement and praise. Roee Madai, Consul of Economic Affairs to the Government of Israel Economic Mission, US Southern Region was presented with the Community Partner Award for his leadership and commitment to creating and facilitating business opportunities for Israeli companies in the seven southern states that his office oversees, including Georgia, home of the AICC. Roee worked closely with the AICC and, with a shared commitment, many mutual efforts ended in success.

The event was very well attended bringing together businessmen and women from the local community and beyond who support partnershipss and joint business ventures between the US and Israel.
Entrepeneur and Investor, Jonathan Medved, previously named one of the top 10 most influential Americans who have impacted Israel, gave an impactful key note speech. Attorney, Robert Deutsch, received the prestigous Chamber Founders Award. In part, because of his involvement with the Board of the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Board of the Greensboro Jewish Foundation and participation in the Advisory Council of the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina. Robert also sits on the advisory board of Tel Aviv University School of Management.
