Israeli #MHealth technologies rise and shine for NYC investors

On December 12, IEMNYC hosted a delegation of 10 Israeli mobile healthcare companies in NYC.  Our office arranged a breakfast for them at Greenberg Traurig‘s midtown offices, where they would pitch to and meet with approximately 25 private investors and investment firms.

The delegation was visiting our area on the occasion of the mHealth Summit that took place in Maryland earlier in the week.  At the Summit, the delegation was organized and supported by our partners at the Maryland-Israel Development Center.  Following the conference, the delegation headed up I-95 to join up with us in New York on Friday to meet with investors about raising money.

The Israeli companies provided solutions for at home healthcare, customized medical information, in-the-field diagnostics, pre diabetes, and personal electronics.

The breakfast meeting provided ample opportunities short pitches, Q&A and networking.

Special thanks to our hosts at Greenberg Traurig, and to David Bergman for his keynote address.

So far, feedback and followup has been very positive, and we are already seeing deals sprout from the meetings we facilitated.  Contact Erik for more information about our investment events, or Rebecca for more information about life sciences technologies from Israel.
