On April 20, the MetroHartford Alliance and the Jewish Federation teamed up for a Connecticut- Israel technology evening. The event focused on “futuristic medical innovations from Israel,” and was held at the University of Connecticut. UConn, along with a number of other local organizations, were partners. Four Israeli companies presented at the event:
In addition to a light supper, guests learned about the unique technology and innovation environment that makes Israel startup nation, and a hub of life sciences R&D. Additionally, representatives from the local business, academic and Jewish communities mingled with the companies, and discussed opportunities for collaboration with Connectcut and the greater Hartford area.
