This summer, 13 Israeli companies with technology solutions for the sports and events industries visited the United States. The companies ranged from fan engagement to broadcasting to enhancing the gameday/stadium experience. The delegation visited New York on July 25-26 before heading out to Los Angeles and San Francisco. In total, our office was able to host more than 200 meetings for the Israeli companies.
On July 25th, the group organized at the Landmark Ventures offices in midtown Manhattan, before breaking out across the region for pre-scheduled meetings with various organizations. These included
Following a full day of meetings, Loeb & Loeb on Park Avenue hosted an evening cocktail reception, where more than 100 guests from the VC and Sports/Entertainment world joined the delegation for networking, pitches and more meetings.
On July 26th, the group spent the morning at a “speed-dating” conference with investors. In the afternoon, the delegation enjoyed site visits, presentations and meetings with Madison Square Garden and Verizon Ventures. Following the meetings, the group headed to the airport to board their flight to California.
This was the first time that IEMNYC organized a Sportstech delegation for the local market. As always, thanks to our partners at the Israel Export Institute, and especially to our friends at Landmark Ventures, who hosted the companies in their offices and reached out to the local partners.
