Israel and Maryland – Global Hotspots for Cyber Innovation

One of the ways the Israeli Economic missions work to support Israeli companies abroad is by doing joint-events with trusted local partners. An upcoming event on cybersecurity is a case in point.

In conjunction with the Maryland-Israel Development Center – its longtime partner – as well as the Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, the Economic and Trade Mission at the Embassy of Israel to the U.S. in Washington is helping host an event on emerging cyber threats and Israeli technological solutions to confront them.

In addition to a broad discussion about the current state of cybersecurity and why Maryland has become a global hotspot for cyber, four Israeli companies will present their solutions. These include:

Sepio Systems  Protecting against “rogue” hardware, Sepio’s hardware fingerprinting technology discovers all managed, unmanaged and hidden devices that are otherwise invisible to all other security tools.

Suridata – privacy and data protection, allowing an organization to protect its specific sensitive information across all its data repositories.

SecBi XDR Platform for unified, extended, cross-product integration of network, endpoint, and cloud security tools to deliver accurate and fast threat detection and response.

Cybint A cyber training training platform developed by a former representative of the Israeli military’s elite 8200 cyber unit.

This great event is scheduled for Thursday, October 22nd, from 9am-10am U.S. Eastern Standard Time. Here is the link to register: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/international-cybersecurity-partners-and-perspectives-israel-maryland-registration-118509778939?aff=efbneb.
